Kolo Toure claims that he is not sure about his future Liverpool

Kolo Toure claims that he is not sure about his future Liverpool, despite being one of the important members of the squad since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool defender Toure was close to leaving the club last summer, but the club made a surprising U-turn at the last moment to keep him from moving on a free transfer to the Turkish league. Toure was reportedly ready to leave the club on a free transfer after the end of his contract. The last 12 months may have looked like borrowed time initially, but the former Ivory Coast international has made a real impression at the club.

Especially since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp, he has been able to keep out the younger players like Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren out of first-team action for extended periods of time. The 35-year-old made 28 appearances in all competitions. He was increasingly seen for the big matches and it was not a surprise to see him start the Europa league final against Sevilla. Even though Liverpool lost the match, it was a good performance from Toure once again. Just when it seemed that Liverpool will count the experience of the 35-year-old next season, reports suggest that he may be allowed to leave due to concerns about age.

"I am just enjoying my time in this club - a fantastic club and fantastic supporters. We will see what will happen and you will have to ask that question to the manager.Of course I want to stay. It's a great club to play in, but the manager has his plan and any decision I will respect. He is a top manager and he knows what he is doing. We have a young team and its part of the game. Sevilla are a very experienced team. They had won the trophy twice,” said Toure.
