JurgenKlopp: ’’Guardiola will find it tough in Manchester City’’

Pep Guardiola’s next club that he takes charge of will be Manchester City and this has been confirmed as the Premier League outfit has already signed Guardiola on a 3 year long contract which starts when the current season finalizes.

The Spanish manager is one of the most successful tacticians in modern times as he has been in charge of top European clubs and lifted all the major titles during his managerial career. Guardiola has guided Bayern Munich to success and even though the German club is considered to be one of the best in the world, Guardiola wants to face a new obstacle and it will be in the Premier League as he has decided to replace Manuel Pellegrini at the end of the season but Liverpool’s JurgenKlopp believes that things are going to be extremely difficult at the Etihad Stadium.

JurgenKlopp said: “Manchester City is a club with not too bad possibilities on the financial side, shall we say, and Pep Guardiola is a really smart person. He won’t have chosen Man City because of his friendship with a few people there.

“He will enjoy the league because it is a great league and a real competition and he is a real competitor.

That is what he wants. But I don’t think that it will be the same situation as he had in Spain, with Barcelona on the top level, or in Germany with Bayern on the top level. Of course Man City has good possibilities but we will try to beat them.”

JurgenKlopp is certain that Pep Guardiola will not have things as easy as he has had it in the past when he was the coach of Barcelona and his current side Bayern Munich.
